For one of my next projects I will be creating a video podcast. As I was researching some ideas and trying to get some inspiration, I came across a few ideas. I really wanted to showcase something that was fun and simple, but I had too many broad ideas roaming around in my head. Finally, I decided on doing something specific, but still expresses one of the underlying meanings I wanted to go for.
I don’t know about you, but I absolutely love Photojojo. They have the cutest stuff to buy as well as some great inspiration. I came across this video of theirs:
Milksterpiece1 from Photojojo loves you on Vimeo.
So I want to try this. However, I want to do it in stop motion because I feel like it would be a neat effect and I’ve never really tried stop motion before. This is a pretty specific thing that I am doing for my podcast, but I personally love taking time to do crafty things even though I don’t do them that much. I feel like life gets so busy and we forget to just take a step back and really have fun and just create like when we were kids. So that’s why I want to do this for my podcast. I will also incorporate what I just talked about – basically just remembering to be a kid and enjoy life. So we will see how this goes!

Nicole, I love your idea! I’ve never seen a Photojojo video, but the video you included was pretty cool. I find stop motion fascinating, and I’m excited to see how your video turns out. Do you know yet what craft you will use for your video? Are you going to do the same thing they did in that Photojojo video? I just wonder because that video was pretty short, and you will probably want a more complicated craft so you can make it 2-3 minutes long.
