Here is my final video podcast that I created for a project in my university Advanced Visual Media course. We were to pick a topic of something we enjoyed and then create a video podcast about it. It could be either informational, entertaining, inspirational, etc. I chose to have it be more inspirational because I love videos like that. I also chose to talk about iPhoneography which has been a growing passion of mine. I really wanted to share my love for it. I have really been interested in motion graphics and wanted this video to be like it. So I challenged myself to learn Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere. I ended up using most of Premiere for the final project but used a little bit of After Effects. I also used GarageBand to create my music. This was a lot of fun and I definitely will be doing more of this in the future.
Some problems that I ran into for this project was trying to convert the video to the correct size requirements. It was difficult to get it small enough, but also still be good quality. So I ended up downloading and using HandBrake to help bring it to under 5mb. It’s a great program and I highly recommend using it.
For this project, I created all the graphics, designed the layout, took all the images, narrated, and created the music in Garage Band. Here are some screenshots of using Adobe Premiere during this project:
