During the winter I am usually living in Missouri and normally they are just cold and we don’t get that much snow. At least in the past few winters we haven’t. So I don’t have many options to take any snow pictures. However, when we do get snow I jump up and down. I’m as giddy as a little school girl that wants a snow day. I always get so excited when I watch the weather and find out there is a chance for snow. Most of the time, it’s nothing. Sometimes, though, God sends a wonderful gift to me and back in February He did. He sent some snow. Not a lot, but BIG flakes. I was so excited! I was afraid this would be my last chance until I went back to school (yes, I have plenty of chances in Idaho, but it’s different when I’m home). So I put on my winter gear and went out with my camera, tripod, and a flashlight. There is something so peaceful about snowy winter nights. Everything is so bright and quiet. It’s one of my most favorite things because I feel that in those moments, time has slowed down and I feel like I can hear myself think and appreciate God’s beauty and the perfect moments He gives us.
