This past weekend I participated in a product shoot with my photography class. We set up a bunch of different stations and some of them had various products. It was really fun to try this out as I haven’t tried product photography seriously before. It’s fun to move around the objects and try different setups to see what works.
There were different lighting setups such as a light box, speedlights, beauty dishes, and continuous lights. There was one station where we had a sheet of pexi-glass and continuous led lights shooting underneath. It then resulted in a beautiful clean white background. I used my 50mm lens on these images and my aperture ranged from f/2.5 – f/5.6. I kept my ISO between 100-200.
