As I said earlier, I have another wonderful opportunity to attend Photoshop World in Vegas again this year. I am beyond stoked. I will be entering three different images into the guru contest which is for all attendees. I need help narrowing it down so help me out!
Artistic:
For this image I took a self portrait of me first. I then brought it into Photoshop and painted various bird brushes on the canvas. I then masked my image into the birds. I added some texture and made the whole image a monochromatic color.
For this image I took this portrait against a wall and then selected her out of it. I then created the background using selections and the brush tool. I then used some filters to blur and twirl some of the elements in the background.
Photo Retouching:
For this image I shot this in Jackson and had to underexpose so that I didn’t lose the sky. That made the foreground too dark so then I lightened and sharpened it as well as added some more contrast and vibrance to the colors.
I really enjoyed working on this one. I took this photo in Montana. I used an ND filter but the clouds weren’t moving fast enough to get the wispy look I wanted so I blurred the sky to give it more of that look. I also lightened it, changed the color, and sharpened parts of the image.
Montage:
This was rather fun. I took a self-portrait of me on a stool in a field. I then masked me out of the picture and inserted me into another picture with the lake. I added the rocks from another image and then cleaned up some of the pictures overall.
