For my Advanced Visual Media class, my next project is going to be an infographic. I have a choice on why type of infographic I want to do and what the topic is. After looking on Pinterest and creating a board specifically for infographics, I got some good inspiration of how I want my final infographic to look. You can check that out here.
For my topic, I have two different ones that I am deciding on. One of them is on the topic of weather. I have always been fascinated by weather. So fascinated that I will watch the Weather Channel for fun. I would probably narrow it down to either an infographic about all types of weather, snow, seasons, or natural disasters. It’s quite soothing for me to be honest. If I were to choose this topic, I would do a research and statistics type of infographic. It would include a lot of interesting and unknown facts as well. Four hook ideas that I have are:
1. Did you s-know this?
2. Seasons of Change
3. The Truth About Natural Disasters
4. Weather: Predictably Unpredictable
For the other topic that I am considering is actually Pinterest. I think it would be fun to look for research and statistics of how many users, what’s the most common board type, etc. My 3 hook ideas could be:
1. Pinfographic
2. Pinteresting Facts
3. Pinterest Facts You May Not Know
It’s hard because I think both topics would be fun. In fact, I’m getting excited for this project. I’m leaning towards the weather one because I think I could find some great research on it.
