My photography class was able to bring a bunch of different food items to photograph for a food shoot. It was a lot of fun, but really hard to refrain from eating the delicious-looking treats! Food photography is an interesting thing because I think it’s not very common, yet it can be very fun and beneficial as well. I enjoyed this probably more than product photography, but probably because I imagined eating them.
For these images, my shutter speed ranged from 1/25 to 1/250 and my ISO 100-250. I used different lights such as speedlights, continuous lights, and Einstein lights. The last two images are also HDR.
This image was taken by the very talented Emily Johnson as we were working on our food and product shoot. Visit her beautiful work here.
